Several glades have recently been cleared in the woodland garden and later flowering specimens, including acers, cornus and hydrangeas, have been planted to prolong the interest in this area.

The ornamental trees deliver vibrant fall colours throughout the space.

The garden showcases a large variety of late flowering shrubs, perennials and bulbs throughout the formal and informal borders.

The estate also maintains a modest fruit orchard featuring dwarf apple varieties and a quince tree, along with espaliered plum, pear, and fig trees trained against the walls.
